Syllabus
  • Study of performance of photomultiplier. Study of thermoelectron emission. Motion of electrons in electric and magnetic field. Measurement on highfrequency lines. Determination of energy of gamma radiation. Determination of energy of alpha and beta radiation. Determination of temperature of electric arc. Measurement of changes of air refraction index by Jamin interferometr. Measurement on Fabry-Perot interfeometr. Vacuum technique and electric discharge in gases. Width of band of forbiden energy in semiconductors.
