Course objectives (in Czech)

Charakteristika kvartéru a jeho důležitost pro současnost. Stručná kvartérní charakteristika Moravy. Historie objevů klimatických změn. Stratigrafické škály: morény, spraše a fosilní půdy, zoo- a fytopaleontologie, izotzopová stratigraie, paleomagnetismus, grónský ledovec. Dnes pouižívané stratigrafické škály pleistocénu a holocénu. Detailní škála posledního glaciálu. Genetické typy terestrických sedimentů a jejich rozeznávání. Hlavní rody a druhy zvířat a rostlin v pleistocénu. Pedologie.
