- Course objectives
- The course is aimed especially at regional geology, petrography, mineralogy and mining geology of the Bohemian Massif and West Carpathians.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to: describe selected geological units based on personal experience.
- Syllabus
- a) Student givs position of localities in a geological map and writes notes about geological situation to a diary at excursion stops;
- b) After consultation with the excursion leader he prepares geological interpretation of a locality at least;
- c) After consultation with the excursion leader he prepares one hand specimen of a rock at least.

- Course-unit credit can be obtained after discussion on visited geological localities with geological map, field diary and rock samples.
