Na konci kurzu bude student schopen:
řešit jednoduché úlohy z deskové tektoniky kvantitativně, graficky nebo numericky
řešit jednoduché úlohy z geometrie orogénů

• Typy rozhraní dvou desek a jejich geometrie
• Typy trojných bodů a jejich stabilita
• Pole rychlostí
• Desková tektonika v rovině - grafické řešení úloh
• Pól a rychlost rotace desek
• Desková tektonika na kouli - grafické řešení úloh
• Příčiny pohybu desek
