Course objectives
It is a continuation of Methods of Descriptive Geometry 1. The Monge projection is studied in details. Position and metric problems are solved. Students should be able to ose the Monge projection to solve basic 3D problems.
Syllabus
  • 1. Orthogonal projection on two orthogonal planes (Monge projection); image of linear elements, position and metric problems. 2. Image of circles and solid bodies. 3. Intersections of solid bodies and planes. 4. Quételet-Dandelin's Theorem. 5. Paralell and central ilumination.
