Syllabus
  • Divisibility in an integral domain. Polynomials: divisibility in the ring of polynomials, root of a polynomial, polynomials over C, R, Q and Z, polynomials in more variables. Algebraic equations: solution of basic types of algebraic equations. Algebraic structures: more about algebraic structures. Basic notions of lattice theory.
