Course objectives
The objective of the course is to enable students to get practical experiences during a short-term stay at an institution which employs geographers. The objectives of these institutions are very varied (physical and human geography, as well as cartography) a reflect contemporary broad scope of the discipline. Selection of an institution is made by student and depends on his/her preferences and willingness of the institution to accept students.
Syllabus
  • A weeks´ practical training at a professional workplace. Assignment under the instructions of the head of professional practice. Working out and presentation of the report on professional practice.
