Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Topological degree theory in its many versions is a fundamental tool of Nonlinear Analysis, in particular for the study of boundary value problems. The aim of this mini-course is to present a brief introduction to degree theory in finite dimension (Brouwer degree) from a constructive perspective. Depending on time, the extension to Banach spaces (Leray-Schauer degree) will be concisely commented.
