- to inform students of archaeology about innovative methods of archaeological practice used in foreign
- to provide to students compact teoretical and practical information regarding how method works, in what conditions could be effectively used, what benefits allows and what difficulties or limits could occur, for what kinds of archaeological situation is suitable, what steps includes sampling or measurement process, how are data procesed and used for scientific interpretation
- to provide sufficient summa of self-studying materials including video of foreign specialist lecture
- to provide orientation in scientific and research teams in the world - Syllabus

- it is possible to work on course on-line in 2weeks frame of one method - Assessment methods (in Czech)
- - hodnotí se kvalita rešerše - povinné je vyplnění 10 odpovědníků (zpětná vazba učiteli), vložení dvou kvalitních příspěvků do diskusních fór a 10 slovíček do společného slovníku - výsledky odpovědníků se nehodnotí, pokud jsou však dlouhodobě neuspokojivé, mohou být spolu s dalšími známkami nezájmu o práci v kurzu, důvodem k neudělení kreditů
