Course objectives
The aim of the Geoarchaeology is to make students familiar with the main principals of geological attitude to archaeological excavations and interpretations. Students will have the opportunity to get the basic knowledgement of sedimentology and geomorfological environment that is following, stratigraphy and quarternary climatic cycle as well as the basic knowledgement of geochemistry and pedology.

  • Content of the subject is divided into 5 thematic groups: 1- formational processes of clastic sediments 2- formational processes of antropogenic sediments 3- methodology of field research 4- methodology of lab research 5- case studies
