Studentw will be encouraged to look up their own songs for homework and to bring them to class, as well as bringing a musical instrument if possible. Homework will also consist of filling in the portfolio during the whole semester. This should be a reflection on what the students have learnt.
Assessment methods
The final assessment will be in the form of a portfolio showing what students have learned. This will be presented in pairs. The credit will be awarded if the portfolio is of an acceptable standard and shows progress in the student's understanding of how to use songs in the classroom.
