Course objectives
The course is a third part in a fourh-semester cycle, which should provide students with an insight into Finnish grammar and into traditional approaches of its description. Students should be able to analyze linguistically given examples and also use this knowledge in practical study of the language. Topics covered in these courses cover basic overview of Finnish phonology, possible descriptions of morphology, analysing of syntactic relations, overview of word-formation and sociolinguistic variation.
