Course objectives

The subject Individual nursing practical training I is focused on the implementation of the knowlege and experience of students from the teoretical tutiion into the practice under the leading of the nurses.-Students will be able to: - formulate and prove by evidence problems and demands in the area of biological, identificational, emotive, social and spiritual of the patients. - ensure patients income, translation and leaving - Students will be able on the base of their knowledge of providing patients demands to take in and pass on oral reporting while shift handver. - Students will be able to actively work with nursing documentation. - Students will be able to realize actions and interventions in prevention nosocomial infections and ensure care by used tools (mechanical purgation, tools disinfection, scrubbing tools to sterilization, germ free tools manipulation)

Syllabus

• Working hours: students are working in tree-shift service in law conformity; in general range of 160 oclock. Students duties and responsibilities: - To keep working hours-agreed by ward nurse - Absence at the workplace caused by sudden clases must be announced to ward nurse by phone call immediatelly, to agree spare term and lets to guarantee know, eventually their assistent. - In cooperation with the entrusted nurse ensure the complex nursing care. - Keep laws of the Czech Republic. - Works in line with ethical nurse codex and respect patients laws (rights). - Work in line with hygiene-epidemiological laws. - Goes arranged by agreed rules. Workplace: The Faculty Hospital Brno: Surgical department – unit A, B and K, Cardiology department – intermediate care unit, unit A, 2nd Haematology department – unit A, B, C, 3rd Internal-Gastroenterology department - unit A, B, The Internal , Geriatrics and Practical Medicine – unit A, B, C, Urology department.
