Course objectives
This subject builds on the knowledge of the subject of Psychology and health psychology, Social interaction, Nursing, Psychotherapy and Applied Psychology. Interdisciplinary application of knowledge students apply in clinical practice in the     the context of providing comprehensive nursing care. At the end of this subject, students will be able to: - Understand basic terminology - Understand and orient themselves in related literature (eg. education, psychology) - Identify the problems of the patient and on that basis to formulate nursing diagnosis in education process - Define the requirements for an effective and holistic health care Is able use this knowlwdge in the terms of own patient educational activity, clients or others educational activity in the special nursing care.
Syllabus
  • Lecture: - Pedagogy like science (conception delimination, relation pedagogy to other sciences, subject structure, basic terms). - Patterns and sorts teaching, instructional style, pedagogic diagnostics conception and fundamental pedagogic comunication and their exercise in educational process. - Factors biasing this process general formulation of educational aims and application on the work. Exercise the tutorial and conventional methods in educational process sorts and forms educational needs in nursing care. - Organizational educational forms. - Materially didactional resources. - Projecting and evaluating of educational process. - Evalutional themselves in educational process. - The documentational of the educational process in medical institution. - Specific approaches in the educational process for people with disabilities - Age gradation education specialities. - Practical impediments negotiation at clients education. - Presentation. - Lector personality.

Teaching methods
lecture - seminar group learning and discussion - Problem based learning - practical demonstration and examination in the model situations. Students work out a seminar work focused on the issues of patient education, or family member.
Assessment methods
Active participation in seminars (excused absence 1x /semester ie. 2 lessons). Essay with educational issues. Subject is finished by oral exam from subject content.
