The aim of one-term course is to introduce the general issues of Environmental Law. The subject-matter of the course includes both general institutions and special parts of Environmental Law.
At the end of this course the student will be able to work with the sources of environmental law, understand the nature and mission of the subject of environmental law in both - the general and in specific parts of environmental law, to explain its function, and even more set arguments of its merits. Student can create a legal opinion on the basic model to designated cases, label an authority competent to decide in such cases and to draw up the necessary legal remedies.
Syllabus
General part:
Basic concepts, the system, sources, entieties and constitutional grounds for Environmental Law. The participation of the public in making decisions on the environment. The rights to information about the environment. Prevention in Environmental Law. Liability in Environmental Law. Economic instruments for the environment protection.
Special part:
Air protection. Wastage. Water protection. Land and forest protection. Nature conservation.

Oral exam: Student has to prove his or her knowledge of the topic they selected by lot. Classification makes the teacher according to correctness and perfection of the answers.
