Course objectives
This subject is theoretically practical. Its conception comes from the profile of a graduate. The subject matter is a source for forming the personality of a professional midwife. The most important information and advices for students, who are facing to create and introduce their bachelor’s final work which is part of final state exam, are summarised in this subject. Methodical advices for each phase of creating this final work are provided. It covers choosing and formulating problems, targets and assumptions of work. Instructions for work with information and sources for formal as well as informal side of work is included. It suggests time schedule as well as process of student’s preparation for final work pleading. Subject objectives- student will be able to: - orientate her/himself in principles of creating professional text; - respect ethical and legal standards; - define problem, target and hypothesis for research study; - correctly formulate targets for theoretically practical work as well as for case study; - find out and work with acceptable informational sources; - orientate her/himself in data retrieval methods; - evaluate, comment and introduce obtained knowledge with acceptable methods; - formulate outcome of research; - discuss with other authors;

  • Subject matter / practice of theoretical knowledge: - conception and nature of bachelor’s final work, basic requirements and task of work; - phases of work creating, work schedule and methods; - ethical and legal aspects of final work; - subject, name, problem setting and defining; - work with sources and literature; - targets setting and formulation of targets, hypothesis and research sample; - data collecting and evaluation; - work formality and content, structure of bachelor’s work; - style and grammar recommendation , the most frequent minuses; - evaluation and pleading;
