Course objectives
In the end of the course the student will be able to describe the evolution of marxist thinkink in czech literature, he will know the key notions and will be able to understand his methodology.

  • 1. marxism as a philosophical conception
  • 2. specifics of the marxist theory of art
  • 3. twenties, proletarian art, "the dispute of a generation"
  • 4. thirties, avantgarde
  • 5. after war, critics of strukturalisme
  • 6. sixties
