Teaching methods
In the form of a seminar (interpretations and analysis of selected works), students will get a deeper insight into poetics of a literary work. They will further develop their literary knowledge and interpretational skills with the aim to communicate with a literary work more efficiently. They will creatively use their knowledge gained not only in contact classes but also in their individual study of recommended literature which they will be able to discuss regularly with their teacher. The main method of teaching is a seminar.
Assessment methods
Type of completion: oral examination during which students answer the questions related to one of the assigned topics and interprete a literary text. They also hand in a seminar paper - interpretation of a chosen piece of poetry, prose or drama.
