Course objectives
At the end of the course the student should be able to describe and explain the methods of cognitive science; to analyse theatrical productions from the perspective of cognitive studies; to understand principles of cognitive experimentation in the field of theatre studies.
Syllabus
  • 1. Introduction to cognitive science, cognitive studies and cognitive theatrology; 2. Methodology of cognitive studies research; 3. Theatre research and experimentation from the cognitive perspective; 4. Evaluation of the research and experimetation; 5. Final presentations of the research papers.
