Course objectives (in Czech)
Předmět se zabývá problematikou strukturování politického prostoru od Vestfálského míru po současnou Evropu Evropské unie. Pozornost nebude věnována primárně mezinárodnímu systému, ale procesům, které vedly k formování center, budování systémů a jejich politické strukturaci na pozadí transformace teritoriální struktury Evropy. Evropská integrace bude pojednána jako kritická fáze evropského vývoje (následující po reformaci, v zformování moderních národů, industriální revoluci, mezinárodní revoluci po roce 1917). Diskutovány budou implikace evropského integračního procesu vzhledem k teritoriální strukturaci evropského prostoru a funkcionální strukturaci evropských politických systémů.

  • 1) Základní pojmy a koncepty: exit, voice, formování center, budování systémů, politická strukturace 2) Vestfálský řád a zrod národního státu 3) Zrod a vývoj moderní masové politiky v kontextu restrukturace evropského prostoru v 19. a 20. století 4) Evropská integrace jako proces de-teritorializace evropského prostoru 5) Evropská unie jako politické centrum 6) Teritoriální a funkcionální důsledky evropské integrace Povinná literatura: Bartolini, Stefano (2005): Restructuring Europe: Centre formation, system building and political structuring between the nation-state and the European Union, Oxford: Oxford University Press.
