Course objectives
At the end of the course students schould be able to understand the principles of the academic writing including the system of science assesment. They will be able to evaluate the proffesional journals in the Czech republic.
Syllabus
  • The course is divided into three thematic blocks: 1.Principles od the Academic writing (what is academic writing, publications output categories, types of documents, structure, size and the main types of written formations, quotes, the structure of the texts), 2. The Science and principles of its assessment in the Czech Republic (RVVI status, assessment methodology of science, M13, score) and 3. The Professional platforms in the Czech Republic (the targeting of the journal, peer review mechanism, standards, scientific journals in the Czech Republic, IF journals in the area of the European Studies)
