Course objectives
Wave length dependence of refractive index of glass. Power and phase shift of alternating current. Polarization of light. Relaxation oscilations of glim lamp. Inductance and capacitance detrmination by alternating bridge. Determination of refractive index of nonabsorbing thin layer by transmittance measurement. Determination of magnetic induction. Thick of thin layers measurement by Tolansky method. Propagation of light by planparaller plate and prism. Detrmination of halfwidth of transmittance filter by Fourier spectroscopy
