Course objectives
This seminar is focused on analysis of selected films, typical genres and representative auteur works made during the last ten years.

Main objectives can be summarized as follows:
To improve orientation of the present world film scene: festival (art house) films and genre movies as well
To develop skills in inventive presentation
To talk about fascinating films

Teaching methods
The seminar is based on student lectures (principles of self-service). At each meeting will be presented two papers, each of 60 minutes, including discussion. Everybody then suggests questions for the final test. Class attendance is mandatory, two absences tolerated.
Assessment methods
The final grade will be composed of the grade from presentation and the grade from the final written test.
