Course objectives
The goal of the course will be to introduce the most important movies of French-Canadian and Quebec cinema and to provide subtitles for selected Quebec movies with regard to the Festival of Quebec cinema organized in Brno in April 2016
Syllabus
  • 1) History of French-Canadian Cinema 2) Contemporary Quebec cinema 3) Subtitling: theory and practice 4) Introduction to the Sub Workshop software 5) Workshop on subtitling
