Course objectives
The course should offer the students theoretical framework for analysis of the political system of the European Union. Through knowledge theories of European integration the students should be able to identify, analyze and subsequently interpret the most important long term problems and questions related to the European integration, its policies and decision making system.

Teaching methods
The course is carried out by seminars where students present their team work.
Assessment methods
The course consists of three seminars. These seminars are based upon student´s involvment as students are supposed to present and discuss three team essay on given themes - theory of European integration, constitutional dimensions of the EU and common politics. One theme (EU desicion making system) is carried out by self learning. Active participation on these seminars is necessary. Therefore are the seminars compulsory. At the end of the course the students are supposed to pass one written test.
