Course objectives
The course aims at giving the students the basic instruments for analysing narrative texts.
Syllabus
  • Study of narrative and narrative structures and the ways they affect our perception. Diegesis in contrast to mimesis. Author, narrator, reader. The terms fabula and sjuzhet. Narrative Time. Characters. Narrative structures. Literary theory and textual analysis. Poetry analysis.
