Gaining of the appropriate number of credit points in M. A. study of the Greek Language and Literature. Assignement of the theme for the Master of Arts Final Thesis.

Course objectives
The student chooses the theme of his Master of Arts Final Thesis (in cooperation with the teacher) from the Greek language or literature. The teacher determines also the head-consultant of the M. A. Final Thesis. The seminar takes place in the common form of lessons or in the form of individual consultations.
Syllabus
  • The synopsis depends on the theme of the M. A. Final Thesis. Generally: search for the literature; search in the sources; working on partial problems; formulation of each chapter; working on notes and supplements; list of the literature and sources

Teaching methods
Individual student-advisor tutorial during which student presents and discusses the used scholarly literature and particular methodologic approach to the solved topic. Eventually, presenting and analysing particular chapters: methods of text-analysis, argumentation, proper conclusions-formulation.
Assessment methods
The advisor awards the course-unit credit for the semester on the basis of progress made and student-advisor consultations.
