Obtaining of the appropriate amount of credits in M. A. degree of study of the Mediterranean Studies. Enrollment into M.A. Diploma Thesis Seminar.

Course objectives
The student chooses the topic of his M.A. Final Thesis after a consultation with the teacher who supervises the thesis. The seminar takes place in the form of individual consultations.
Syllabus
  • The nature of the syllabus depends on the topic of the M. A. Final Thesis. It usually includes: searching for the literature; searching in the sources; treatment of the constituent problems; formulation of individual chapters; treatment of the notes and supplements; list of the literature and sources.

Teaching methods
Individual student-advisor tutorial, during which student presents and discusses the used scholarly literature and particular methodologic aproach to the solved topic. Later presenting and analysing particular chapters: methods of text-analysis, argumentation, proper conclusions-formulation.
Assessment methods
The advisor awards the course-unit credit for the semester on the basis of examination of particular parts of M.A. Final Thesis and students ability to work out the advisors comments on it.
