Course objectives
After successful completion of the course Administrative Law III: student – has deep theoretical knowledge of administrative law, - is able to orientate well in constitutional principles and the general principles of European administrative law in the public administration, including regulatory activity, - has a good orientation in the legal regulation of organization and operation of public administration, of all types of decision-making of administrative bodies, of responsibility in public administration, - is able to explain the system and procedures for judicial control of public administration, - can design an appropriate procedure for the application of legal guarantees in public administration, from the perspective of affected person and from the perspective of the administrative body, - is able to apply theoretical knowledge in the field of administrative law for the practical activities related to the public administration, including processing of written pleadings, - is able to provide legal arguments to deal with case studies.
Syllabus
  • European administrative law, interpretation of administrative law rules, discretionary powers of public administration, normative powers of public administration, theoretical aspects of local self-government, right to information and personal data protection in public administration, legal guarantees in public administration, judicial supervision of public administration, liability for damage and liability for immaterial damage caused by the public administration’s activity, civil service and regional government clerk’s position, public administration ethics.
