Course objectives
At the end of the course, students should have the ability to:
(1) Understand and explain the international framework for the law of climate change, along with selected aspects of regional and national developments;
(2) Develop and work with information concerning primary themes and problem-areas involving climate change;
(3) Create and integrate an interdisciplinary perspective to the subject; and
(4) Formulate deductions on the acquired knowledge, interpret new materials and enhance analytical skills in research, writing and oral presentations with the goal of stimulating further study in the field.

Teaching methods
Course time is devoted to lectures and discussion with an emphasis on active student participation. All of the assigned material is required reading and necessary in order to succeed. Failure to keep up with the reading and discussion will impair the ability to learn.
Assessment methods
Students will research and write a paper on a topic related to the assignments in the course. The paper will conform to the Faculty’s requirements discussed the first day of class.
