Course objectives
The aims of the course are:
to introduce software as the object of legal relationships;
to explain the basics of software legal protection;
to present the most important contractual issues of software law;
to teach basic legal and economic aspects of software marketing;
Syllabus
  • Introduction to software, software industry and market, software analysis and design
  • Copyright protection for software; copyright protection of non-literal elements in software
  • Software and know-how, trade secret, goodwill and trademark protection, Non-disclosure, confidentiality and non-competition agreements
