Course objectives
Goal of this course is to develop students skills in contracting with international element.
Syllabus
  • Language of the course: Czech, materials in English Part 1: Theory and practise of contracting and communication technics, capabilities and skills, team work, dealing with disputable situations and removing obstacles (soft skills). Part 2: Basic introduction to legal functioning of typical international transaction, e.g. acquisition or granting a credit by foreign creditor (precontractual period, typical documentation). Part 3: Praktické vyjednávání smlouvy dle zadaných parametrů pod vedením a dohledem zkušeného advokáta. Practise of contracting due to the designated specification supervised by the skilled practitioning lawyer.

Teaching methods
Teaching methods are fitting the goal of the course, eg. to gain the practical skills of contracting, especially intereactive teaching methods with students.
Assessment methods
Contracting game in part 3 of the course will be used as a basis of evaluation of students (passed/failed)
