Course objectives
By listening to various recordings and reflecting on natural strategies in processing acoustical input students will develop during the semester higher proficiency in listening comprehension. Material used in this class stems from recordings of natural conversations between native speakers and radio broadcastings. In addition, we will work with song lyrics. In oral form students will be asked to prepare i. e. short dialogs.
Syllabus
  • The program of the class proceeds from more basic text in listening comprehension (i. e. dialogs in every day life) to more complex ones (i. e. radio broadcasting emissions).
