Assessment methods
The course finishes with a written exam covering the morphological lectures and seminars during the summer and the winter term (i.e. MOR1 and MOR2 as well as the according lectures). For a revision, students are referred to the script (Geislerova) and the common intermediate grammars of German as a foreign language (e.g. Hering/Matussek/Perlmann-Balme). Students who intend to write a bachelor thesis on German morphology are strongly recommended to hand in a short paper (5 p.) reporting on their own research in the field of German morphology (see the folder “Course-Related Instructions” in the section “Study Materials” in the IS).
