Course objectives
The aim is systemization of German subjunctives and their application in a language practice. From the comparative point of view the attention is given to the training of subjective modality phrasing and fixing of irregular verbs knowledge with the aim on different sentence structures. Further important topics of the semester will be constructions with subordinate and infinitival clauses, verb valency and passive formation.

  • - Formation and use of konjunctive II - Subordinate clauses - Infinitival construction - Relative clauses - Participle constructions - Passive constructions - Valency of problematic verbs Credit requirements: written work in a range of covered curriculum and regular participation
