Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to: use Swedish, both spoken and written, in simple language situations;
to understand the basic morphological and syntactic structures;
apply basic rules of pronunciation
The level after successful completion of the course according to the European Framework of Reference for Languages: A1
Syllabus
  • Simple texts and discussions related to everyday topics, such as presentation, my day, body and health
  • Practicing pronunciation and intonation, listening skills, phonetic rules
  • Basic morphological and syntactic patterns and structures

Teaching methods
The seminar is based on methods of presentation, analysis and synthesis of knowledge. It also uses collective work, in-class discussions and individual work of students.
