Course objectives (in Czech)
Das Seminar nimmt sich vor, auf die Wechselbeziehungen zwischen der deutschen Literatur und dem Mythos hinzuweisen. Es werden die wichtigsten Perioden der deutschen Literatur vorgestellt, die sich die Frage nach der Fruchtbrakeit des Mythos gestellt haben. Von Romantik an bis zur Postmoderne wird die Frage nach der unendlichen Arbeit am Mythos gestellt.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Einfuhrend: Mythos und Logos. Mythologie und Aufklärung: Das alteste Systemprogramm des deutschen Idealismus Romantische Mythologie: F. Schlegel, Novalis. Mythen in der Litertaur um die Jahrhundertwende: George, Nietzsche, Kosmiker Mythos und Nazismus Wiederbelebung des Mythos in der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jhts. Strauß, Nadolny, Ransmayr, Wolf.
