Course objectives
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with problems of special education. Students will be introduced to special education, present concept of special education and its role in the system of other scientifical fields, concepts of integration/inclusion, basic categories of special education, comprehensive care for individuals with special educational needs, to trends from abroad. Outcomes of learning: On successful completion of the course student will be able to present theoretical knowledge in the field of special education, define different fields of special education, can explain integration and the context of disciplines of special education.
