Course objectives
The main objectives of the course can be summarized as follows: to explain the system of Western philosophical tradition. Students will get to know the basic philosophical notions and problems and they will be able to explain European cultural tradition and history of ideas in the context of philosophical thought.

Written test consisting of 5 - 10 open questions focusing on themes presented during lectures. Minimum pass level 80%. Course offered by Dagmar Pichová - multiple choice test. Minimum pass level 50%.
