Kurs je možné zapsat teprve po úspěšném absolvování kursů DF I-IV. Vhodná je základní obeznámenost s dílem Immanuela Kanta a znalost německého jazyka.

Course objectives
Main objective of the course is to introduce students to the philosophy of I. Kant and German Idealism. Students will learn about main problems of Kantś transcendental idealism, their genesis, structure and solutions proposed by Kant. They will be able to explain the content and method of The Critique of Pure Reason, they will learn basics of Kantś practical philosophy and they will be able to understand the significance of Kantś philosophy in modern European culture.

Literatura: a) tituly označené číslicí 1 jsou povinné: z Kritiky čistého rozumu je povinná pouze 2. předmluva a Úvod b) tituly označené číslicí 2 jsou doporučené Během semestru budou studující psát tři kontrolní testy. Každý test obsahuje 16 otázek, povolena je 25% chyba. Pokud studující nedosáhne alespoň jednoho kladného výsledku během semestru, nebude připuštěn ke kolokviu. 1. test: 4. listopadu 2008, bude obsahovat shrnutí úvodní látky a otázky, které se vztahují k filosofii B. Spinozy a G. W. Leibnize (protože ty nejsou součástí přednášek v NI, osvojí si je studující samostudiem) 2. test: 2. prosince 2008, bude obsahovat látku týkající se tzv. předkritického a kritického období Kantovy filosofie 3. test: 16. prosince 2008, souhrnný test z celé látky kursu Německý idealismus. Naprosto nezbytná je znalost Kantova spisu Prolegomena, další povinné literatury a odpřednášené látky.
