Course objectives
The student reads a contemporary prose by Polish author (1st edition of the book after 1989). From 60 pages of the book the student excerpts all unknown vocabulary and phrases. The main goal of the course is to gain the ability to understand a coherent literary text, to be able to understand its grammatical structures and to further enrich own vocabulary and phraseology.

  • The course doesn't have a fixed timetable. The course is based on independent reading and excerption of the selected Polish literary text.

Oral exam – requirements: the knowledge of the unknown vocabulary and phraseology based on the vocabulary list, ability to read and traslate any part of the the text.
