At the course students should be able to understand and explain development of the electoral systems in the European Post-Communist countries, to learn the most important trends in the research and development of these systems and to analyse elections and electoral systems on the examples of the Post-Communist Europe

Teaching methods
The course is mostly conducted through lectures.
Assessment methods
Two written seminar papers (shorter - description of the elections - maximum 5 points, longer - analysis of the electoral system or other analytical topic - maximum 15 points) and final written test - maximum 20 points. It is necessary to get at least 25 points.
