Course objectives

This course presents selected topics that reflect our daily life experience and relate to daily phenomena we encounter - from the psychological point of view. The main aim is to obtain a certain quota of knowledge related to self-development, better understanding and managing processes that create human relationships.

The second aim of the course is to facilitate the understanding of psychological terminology in order to study selected psychological literature more efficiently.

(This course is intended for students who are interested in psychology, it is not intended for psychology major students.)

Teaching methods

Lectures - with emphasis on:
1. Integration of the personal experience and the known patterns of the human behavior and interactions
2. understanding of the basic psychological terminology

2. Written examination (the knowledge and understanding of the basic facts, relationships and terminology will be evaluated)
