Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to improve students understanding of the relationships between general and subject specific theory of instruction.
Syllabus
  • Topics Educational science, educational disciplines and their mutual relationships. The models of general and subject-specific theory of instruction. The establishing of subject-specific theories of instruction as relatively independent disciplines. Subject-specific theory of instruction and the field of study. General problems of the curriculum. Subject curriculum, curriculum levels. The basic, core, exemplary subject matter. Teaching methods of the given subject. Textbook analysis in the given subject. Instructional aids and modern didactic technology. Use of e-learning in the given subject. The specific features of teaching the given subject. Interdisciplinary relationships, coordination and integration among subjects. The role of subject-specific theory of instruction in school educational programme implementation. The specifics of subject-specific research.

Typ zkoušky: ústní Nejméně 3 konspekty z literatury, případně metodicky zpracované materiály pro výuku.
