Course objectives
The art of the classic icon period (726-843), the main period of development of Byzantine art after the inconoclastic crisis: architecture, painting, sculpture, the minor arts.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • Umění během ikonoklastického období (726 - 843). Rozvoj byzantského umění po ikonoklastické krizi a velká zastavení tohoto umění až do pádu byzanstké říše (1453). Architektura. Malba, sochařství a klenotnictví.
