Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able on the basis of acquired knowledge to analyze Russian sentences from syntactic point of view; to use the information about Russian syntactic system for correct formation of syntactic constructions.
Syllabus
  • Text analysis, identifying of types of syntactic relations in sentence, modes of main sentence elements expression and their identification in sentence.

Theoretical preparation, the work on individual projects, syntactic excercises.

The requirements: 1. regular doing the required home assignments based on the studied theory and terminology; 2. test at the end of course based on the work done in the class (75%).
