Course objectives
The objective of the subject is to get the basic knowledge of the practical language exercises. The emphasis is placed on the improving of the communicative skills trough the dialog, monologue and discusses in the ambit of actual conversational topics.The practising of the oral and written communication, grammar and communicative skills are the base of the subject. The improving of the oral speech in the lexical and grammar aspect is the basic component. The student are simultaneously improving the listening and reading skills working with texts and actual periodicals.

  • Into the contentual part of the subject have been inserted these basic conversational topics: 1. Art in the peoples life. 2. Theater. Cinema. Traditions. Difference. 3. Folk applied art. 4. Czech applied art. 5. Painting.Painting manners in Russia and in our country. 6. Galery. Exposition. World museums.

Teaching methods
Active work in seminars, fulfilling given tasks, autonomous working with press and internet, reading and listening in Russian language recomended.
Assessment methods
Attendance 80% (two absences allowed). Attendance is required also for these students who have the subject registered as repeated Written test based on the topics taught in the class. If the student reaches the pass mark in the written test, a discussion with the teacher will be held. The discussion will be based on the topics from the course, the reading (Russian book – 350 p.), the student will bring and show the book, and listening (audio, video, DVD). The correct grammar, content,vocabulary used, as well as pronunciation and intonation will be evaluated. The student will also provide a vocabulary exercise book, which will contain at least fifty new words.

Teacher's information
Vzhledem k náročnosti předmětu se očekává aktivní účast studentů ve výuce. Na každou hodinu si studenti připraví informaci z ruskojazyčného Internetu, kterou zpracují z hlediska správné výslovnosti, intonace, slovní zásoby a převyprávějí ostatním studentům. K získání zápočtu studenti napíší písemný test. Ten bude zkontrolován a vyhodnocen vyučujícím. Pokud se vyskytnou gramatické, lexikální a stylistické chyby, studenti test napíší znovu. Součástí zápočtu je i tzv. četba a poslech, tj. přečtení ruského textu (ruská klasická či moderní literatura – rozsah 300 s.) a poslech či zhlédnutí ruského filmu a jejich prezentace z obsahového hlediska. Hodnocena bude správná výslovnost, intonace a lexikální správnost. Studenti předloží „slovníček“ (min. 50 – 70 slov) s novou slovní zásobou, se kterou se seznámili v průběhu čtení textů a poslechu. Výuka každého jazyka je věc náročná - nepodceňujte ji!
