Course objectives
At the end of this course the student will be able to critically assess the methodological issues of analysed texts representing different streams of critics.
Syllabus
  • The course builds on Bachelor's degree course Theory of Literature on order to deepens critical approach to specialized texts of criticism and methodology. The course focuses on guided reading of critic ans theretical texts aming mostly Roman literatures. The texts are translated into Czech, but these are compared with the text in the original. Selection of texts covers diffferent important streams of criticisme in the 20th century.
