Course objectives
Upon completion of this course, students have demonstrated their ability to appraise and evaluate theoretical approaches in their given field of study. They are able to compare and contrast various scholarly approaches. They have a profound knowledge of the discipline including the ability to implement the various skills relating to the specific field of study.
Syllabus
  • The state exam consists of these parts:
  • 1. Slovak language and linguistics (written test in Slovak grammar, oral exam in linguistics theory, oral exam in practical knowledge of Slovak language - on the level C2)
  • 2. Slovak literature, literary theory and culture (oral exam in history of Slovak literature, literary theory, oral exam in basic knowledge of Slovak culture, art, history and life and institutions of Slovakia).
