Course objectives
The main outcome of this course is to get knowledge about Snoezelen concept as a multisensory therapy for people with severe disabilities. In the end, the student will get the knowledge to work in Snoezelen and realise educational process and learn elementary techniques of stimulation to support pupils with severe disability.

  • 1.Definition of Snoezelen concept, history 2. Outcomes, aim, meaning 3. Various types of Snoezele rooms 4. Teaching aid and it´s using in snoezelen 5. Aids (soft furniture, cours in the room) 6. Organisation, structure, documents 7. Methodic units, rules 8. Concept of Basal Stimulation 9. Positioning 10. Support of vestibular perception 11. Snoezelen as method of support of education 12. Snoezelen as a free time aktivity.
